The 2025 Agri-Value Forum is being held on May 6 and 7 in Saskatoon, providing the opportunity for agri-value companies and entrepreneurs to connect with each other alongside agencies and researchers. Attendees can expect to expand their knowledge, build their network and develop the tools needed to grow and strengthen their business.
Last year, there were over 200 attendees with over 92 per cent saying the event was useful and that they would attend the Agri-Value Forum again. Here’s what some at the event had to say:
Sandra Purdy, CEO of Prairie Berries, shared, “The reason that we attend the Agri-Value Forum is because we’re seeking information, and this forum provides lots of insight into trends around the world.”
Kelly Ediger, CEO of Drake Meats, echoed this sentiment about the forum, “The networking part is probably the most valuable… there’s a lot of financial people here that I can chat with, different government folks. I can find most everybody in this location.”
One of the other highlights from the forum was the addition of the half-day workshops, which 89 per cent of workshop attendees found useful for their business. Returning for the 2025 forum, the workshops are designed to provide industry with hands-on learning, opportunities to connect with industry experts, and actionable takeaways for their business. The topics for this year’s workshops include cybersecurity threat planning and environmental, social and governance strategies.
Sandra Purdy had this to say about the workshops, “I took the marketing session, and it was a very informative workshop. My takeaways were understanding the methodologies used in managing social media, recognizing that knowing what you want to achieve through social media is a key to success, and the importance of choosing the right company that can help you manage your marketing on social media.”
