Prairie Biosciences Canada (PBC) is a non-profit organization that supports clean biotech companies to upscale their operations, accelerate growth and expand their international market presence. It is co-funded by Western Economic Diversification Canada and is a collaborative initiative of the BioScience Association Manitoba, Ag-West Bio and Bio-Alberta. PBC’s overall goal is to catalyze the growth of the clean biotech sector across the prairie provinces.

Prairie Biosciences Canada is committed to helping clean biotech companies to get the support they need at a variety of international trade events. PBC assists with the financial aspect of attendance through subsidization of exhibition space, conference registration, travel and accommodation. By joining PBC, delegates join a united brand designed to ensure stronger presence at events and they have a home base that can free up their valuable time to attend B2B meetings. PBC also provides training and mentorship to maximize a company’s conference experience.

Last October, in partnership with BioScience Association Manitoba, Prairie Biosciences Canada led a delegation of cleantech companies from the prairies for three international summits (World Agri-tech Summit, Future Food Tech and Bridge2Food Summit) and a tour of Roquette in Lille, France.

PBC can provide subsidization for cleantech companies who are interested in attending the following events:
