Savanna Veilleux

Communications Assistant

Savanna grew up on a small family farm in Saskatchewan that produced canola and wheat. From a young age, she was involved in helping raise cattle and especially loved bottle-feeding calves in the spring. She also helped care for pigs, chickens, cats, and dogs. This passion for helping animals lead her to study Animal Bioscience in the College of Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan. During this time, Savanna enjoyed learning about other areas of agriculture like food science, microbiology, and biotechnology.

As Communications Assistant at Ag-West Bio, Savanna’s goal is to ensure communication is clear and designed in a pleasing way. Her role is to assist with publication development and design, website and social media management, and event promotion.
