Noelle Chorney

Director of Communications

Noelle comes from a long line of farmers and food producers. She grew up in northeast Saskatchewan on a mixed farm with a gigantic garden, and still keeps a saddle horse at her parents’ property. Noelle earned an M.A. in Political Science a long time ago and has spent her entire career telling complicated stories and creating experiences for multiple media, such as museum exhibits, websites and science publications. She has lived in Saskatoon since 2004 and has regularly written about food and agriculture since she arrived, from restaurant reviews to emerging science for Ag-West Bio, commodity and research organizations. She’s a huge advocate of Saskatchewan, agriculture and local business and is happy to be raising a family on the Treaty 6 lands where she was born.

Noelle joined Ag-West Bio’s team in 2025 and is pleased to lend her strategic communications experience to promoting Saskatchewan agriculture innovation and strengthening networks in the province and beyond. She is proud to be the voice of Ag-West Bio along all its communications channels and networks.

When not at the office, you will find her walking or biking along the river, horseback riding, cooking for friends and family, working out at the gym, watching her kids play all the sports (but mostly football), or practicing agility with her one-eyed cattle dog.
