Kyle Adams

Director of Investment and Commercialization

Kyle grew up on a fourth-generation family farm near Duchess Alberta. He attended the University of Lethbridge where he earned his Bachelor of Management with a Major in Finance in 2012. Prior to joining Ag-West Bio, Kyle spent his professional career with AFSC (Agriculture Financial Services Corporation, a provincial crown corporation) in a lending capacity with a focus on economic development, with his most recent role being Senior Relationship Manager of Agribusiness and working on direct loans of up to $30M. He is passionate about supporting the growth of the ag tech/agribusiness sector and the diversification of local economies.

A keen interest in business analysis and credit structuring led Kyle to earning his Credit Risk Certification from the Risk Management Association (RMA) in 2017. Founded in 1914, the RMA currently has 2,500 institutional members globally and the CRC is the only recognized professional designation for credit and lending professionals.

In Kyle’s spare time he enjoys a staying active/sports, history, science fiction, gardening, and any/all pets!

In his role with Ag-West Bio, he manages the investment portfolio, works to build collaborative stakeholder funding relationships, and develops effective business advancement and support services.
