Jeremy is an experienced corporate leader, entrepreneur, innovator, and sustainability advocate with over 25 years of experience building impactful businesses that leave the world better than we found it.

As the founder of Open Mind Developments (OMD) and Pela, and co-founder of Lomi, Jeremy has pioneered groundbreaking products including the world’s first compostable phone case and a revolutionary smart waste appliance. These ventures have collectively sold millions of products, preventing plastic waste and food scraps from entering landfills and saving GHG emissions.

Jeremy is a USask Alumni (B.S.A. 2000) and a passionate advocate for sustainability, innovation, and category creation. He is recognized for his ability to identify market gaps, develop transformative solutions and scale businesses to leadership positions.

Ag-West Bio was one of the first early supporters of OMD and Pela, and he is grateful for their support and for the opportunity to now help other entrepreneurs achieve their goals and create businesses that make a lasting, positive impact.

When he’s not building the next big idea, Jeremy enjoys playing hockey, snowboarding, spending time in nature, travelling and creating beautiful memories with his family.
