Heather Forbes
Rite way Mfg. and Morris Equipment Ltd.
Heather Forbes is the President and CEO of Rite Way Mfg. Co. Ltd and Director and President of Morris Equipment Ltd. Rite Way manufactures and sells short line agricultural equipment (primarily land rollers and harrows) and Morris also manufacturers and sells agriculture equipment (primarily seeding equipment).
Prior to joining Rite Way, Heather was a Partner of Johnson Advisory Services Inc. (“JASI”) and the Vice President, Operations of Skeleton Lake Investment Corporation (“SLIC”). SLIC is a Saskatchewan based investment management company and is the majority shareholder of Deer Valley Golf Corporation and Stonehaven Construction Corporation. JASI is a financial advisory firm specializing in corporate restructuring and transaction support services.
Prior to joining JASI, Heather was a Partner of Victoria Park Capital Inc., a Regina based investment management company with venture capital funds under management exceeding $600 million. In this role, she was in involved with both the investment underwriting and approval processes and the provision of turnaround and restructuring services to investments.
Prior to joining Victoria Park Capital Inc., Heather was an Investment Director with Investment Saskatchewan Inc. and Crown Investments Corporation of Saskatchewan. In this role, she provided the same services as at Victoria Park Capital Inc.
Heather has a Bachelor of Administration degree from the University of Regina and also holds a Chartered Professional Accountant certification.
Heather is a currently a Director of the Des Nedhe Group, Skeleton Lake Investment Corporation, Deer Valley Golf Corporation and Stonehaven Construction Corporation and has served on the boards of numerous private companies in the past in the agricultural, manufacturing, forestry and nutraceutical sectors.
